Q:Does this hat work for short hair?

A:Even if you can't pull your hair in a ponytail, the hat will still be effective and do what it was made for - keeping the sun off of your face.

Q:How flexible is the brim? Does it work with a backpacking pack? I have a similar one now, but it is too stiff to flex enough for the pack. Thanks!

A:It should fit in a backpack just fine. I would try to leave enough space for it on top to prevent hard a crease that would make it look goofy. Mine took hand shaping and hanging out of the bag to loose the crease from shipping.

Q:Does this hat have spf?

A:I believe it does. Wide brim and super comfortable (even wet). Dries quickly. Highly recommend

Q:Waterproof material?

A:Not exactly. It can and will get wet but it dries quickly and is immensely comfortable wet or dry. Purchased 4 of these hats for myself and my girls to use kayaking and we absolutely love them.
